Samantha Hughes Commits
FC Providence ’03 Lightning player, Samantha Hughes, has given her verbal commitment to continue playing soccer after graduation from high school.
Upon graduation, Samantha will continue her soccer career for Division 1 Wagner College. She has been a member of the FCP Lightning team for four years while also attending Owen J Roberts High School. At the high school level, Samantha was a 2017 and 2018 varsity starter on the OJR PAC 10 Championship team. She earned spots on the 2017 All PAC 10 Second Team, 2018 All Mercury Second Team, and 2018 All PAC 10 First Team. In addition in 2018, Samantha boasted an impressive Goals Against Average of 0.095. Unfortunately, injury caused Samantha to be sidelined in 2019. She is set to graduate in June of 2021.
